Up for sale, a 2019 Fender Road Worn '50s Telecaster in near mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A rare and compelling iteration of Fender's "Relic" mold, this limited edition Road Worn series Tele features a distressed thin nitro lacquer limited edition Purple Metallic finish on the solid alder body, paired with a one-piece maple neck, 6105 fretwire, and pair of Tex-Mex single coils. These pickups have increased output while still retaining plenty of top end detail and sparkle, and the solid alder body has a balanced, neutral tone for the single coil pair. The guitar is lightweight at 7lbs 5oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and solid intonation.

The maple neck has a notably deep C-shaped profile with minimal shoulder and lightly rolled edges, bordering on a soft V and gaining a bit more roundess as you travel up the fretboard, measuring .870" deep at the 1st fret and .905" at the 12th. The thin lacquer finish on the profile is worn down to the smooth bare maple as part of the factory relic process, and the fretboard has a vintage-spec 7 1/4" radius with pristine 6105 fretwire. This fretwire size is very popular due to its vintage width and increased height and crown for longer fret life and effortless bending. The guitar plays well in all registers up the 25 1/2“ scale, and the nut measures 1.650" (42mm) in width. The headstock features a '50s logo and Kluson-style tuners that work as they should.

The stock electronics function as intended, with a three-way pickup selector switch, and Volume and Tone controls capped with domed knurled knobs. The one-ply parchment pickguard contrasts with the thin nitro lacquer Metallic Purple finish, and while it's difficult to judge playwear vs. the factory relic on any Road Worn instrument, suffice it to say this Tele is exceptionally clean and sparingly played since new.

The original Fender-branded gigbag is included.
