Up for sale, a 2019 Fender Japan exclusive Silent Siren signature model Telecaster, brand new and complete with the original hangtags and gigbag. Imported direct from Tokyo, this showroom clean instrument is a signature model for lead vocalist and guitarist Sumire Yoshida of female J-Pop duo Silent Siren.
Featuring a string-through alder body with belly contour, humbucker/single coil pickup combination with a USA-made Fender Shawbucker in the bridge position, USA-made CTS pots, a bone nut, Fender/Schaller tuning machines, and stunning bright white gloss finish with subtle violet pinstriping and faux F hole, this Telecaster is utterly unique in its visual presentation, and very impressive in its tonal range and detail. The Shawbucker humbucker was engineered by pickup luminary Tim Shaw, and like the original Wide Range design, the Shawbuckers retain clarity and impressive note definition with rich humbucker punch and power. With well-defined overtones, the Shawbuckers complement your guitar's natural voice, featuring Alnico II magnets like a traditional PAF. This humbucker is paired with a "Vintage-Style" traditional single coil in the neck position for bell-like chime and cut. The Silent Siren Telecaster weighs 7lbs 6oz, with the factory setup further dialed in by our techs here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with low action and 10-46 strings.
The maple neck has a U-shaped profile carve with full shoulders and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .890" deep at the 1st fret and .930" at the 12th. The maple fretboard has a 9 1/2" modern fretboard radius with slender vintage-style fretwire and easy playability up the 25 1/2" scale. The 1 5/8" wide nut is carved from bone, ensuring optimal note clarity and sustain. The white peghead features gleaming chrome Schaller-made and Fender-branded tuning machines identical to the gears used on many of Fender's USA models, and these tuners turn very smoothly and hold pitch reliably. The artist's signature is on the back of the headstock, and the four-bolt neck plate is embossed with the Silent Siren band name.
The electronics function flawlessly, and the traditional three-way switch and Master Volume and Tone knobs governing the pickup pair. Hardware includes a pair of knurled chrome-plated knobs and six-saddle Strat-style bridge with string through body construction. The bright white finish is a real stunner, and the entire instrument is finished in a high gloss, including the fretboard, accented by pearloid dot inlay.
The original hangtags and padded Fender Japan gigbag are included.
