Up for sale, a 2019 Fender Hybrid Telecaster Deluxe, near-mint and complete with hangtags. A discontinued model with a custom color Sherwood Green gloss finish, the original Hybrid models were some of the finest Tele iterations ever produced by Fender Japan. Offered only to the Japanese domestic market and select international territories, this Hybrid Telecaster Deluxe is uncommon outside its country of origin.

Simply stunning in its forward-thinking design, this Tele features a pair of USA-made Shawbucker pickups, USA-spec CTS pots, a bone nut, medium jumbo fretwire, locking Kluson-style tuners, a satin neck profile finish. Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard. The Shawbucker humbuckers were engineered by pickup luminary Tim Shaw, and like the original Wide Range design, the Shawbuckers retain clarity and impressive note definition with rich humbucker punch and power. Unlike the standard oversized Wide Range footprint however, the Shawbuckers have a “normal” humbucker-sized design, featuring Alnico II magnets (in the vein of a classic PAF). This Hybrid Telecaster Deluxe weighs 7lbs 6oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
