Up for sale, a 2019 Fender Hybrid Telecaster Deluxe in mint condition, complete with the original hangtags and Fender-branded gigbag. A discontinued Factory Special Run (FSR) custom color example with an Olympic White gloss finish, the Hybrid model is one of the finest Tele iterations ever produced by Fender Japan, rarely seen outside its country of origin. Simply stunning in its forward-thinking design and player-friendly features, the guitar features an alder body, USA-made Fender Shawbucker pickups, USA-made CTS pots, a bone nut, medium jumbo fretwire, locking Kluson-style tuners, and a silky smooth satin neck profile finish.
The Shawbucker humbuckers were engineered by pickup luminary Tim Shaw, and like the original Wide Range design, the Shawbuckers retain clarity and impressive note definition with rich humbucker punch and power. With well-defined overtones, the Shawbuckers complement your guitar's natural voice, featuring Alnico II magnets like a traditional PAF. The guitar weighs 7lbs 10oz, professionally dialed in here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 roundwound strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
The maple neck has a medium C profile carve with round shoulders and rolled fretboard edges, measuring .835" deep at the 1st fret and .899" at the 12th. On the thick slab rosewood fretboard, the medium jumbo frets have ample meat and crown, exhibiting zero wear and playing cleanly in every register. The carved bone nut is just fractionally shy of 1 11/16" in width (42.5mm), and the headstock features Kluson-style locking tuning machines.
The electronics function flawlessly, with full-size USA-made 500K CTS pots. The chrome hardware and plastic parts are nigh flawless, with the protective factory plastic still intact on the black pickguard. Ostensibly a like-new instrument sourced directly from Tokyo, the Olympic White custom color gloss finish is showroom clean, and the satin-finished neck profile is equally pristine.
The original Fender-branded padded gigbag and hangtags are included.
