Up for sale, a 2019 Fender Hybrid 60s Telecaster P-90 FSR in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a zippered hardshell case and the original hangtags. This rare Factory Special Run (FSR) “Made in Japan” Telecaster was produced in limited quantities and only intended for the Japanese domestic market, featuring a P-90 pickup in the neck position and an American Vintage ‘58 single coil at the bridge.
Simply stunning in its forward-thinking design and player-friendly features, the Hybrid series features an alder body, four-way series/parallel switching, brass saddles, a bone nut, medium jumbo fretwire, locking Kluson-style tuners, USA-spec CTS pots, and a silky smooth satin neck profile finish. Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard. The bark and dynamic, glassy quality of the neck position P-90 pairs well with the American Vintage ‘58 single coil, which delivers quintessential Tele twang and snap. Weighing 7lbs 12oz, this Tele has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
