Up for sale, a 2019 Fender Hybrid '60s Jazzmaster electric guitar in exceptional, 100% original condition and perfect working order. A rare and discontinued model featuring a custom color Olympic White gloss finish, this Jazzmaster was a limited run model made exclusively for the domestic Japanese market and rarely seen outside its country of origin.A reinvention of Fender Japan's Jazzmaster platform, the new Hybrid 60s model features USA-made Fender Jazzmaster V-Mod single coils, as well as USA-made CTS pots, Switchcraft switches, USA Fender plastic parts, and individually height adjustable barrel bridge saddles. The tonewood compliment includes an alder body, one-piece maple neck, and thick slab rosewood fretboard. A textbook example of everything we love about the Jazzmaster, the instrument has plenty of twang and sparkle on tap, with a range of powerful and defined tones from the two single coil pickups, and warm, wooly sounds when switched to the Rhythm Circuit on the guitar's lower body horn. Notably lightweight at 7lbs 6oz, the guitar balances well on a strap, dialed in here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar where we specialize in Fender Offset instruments, featuring 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation. The maple neck has a chunky C profile carve with very full shoulders and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .840" deep at the 1st fret and .925" at the 12th. The maple fretboard boasts a modern-spec 9 1/2" fretboard radius and flawless tall, slender fretwire, playing cleanly in every register. The scale length is a full 25 1/2", and the nut measures just shy of 1 11/16" in width (42.5mm). The headstock sports a Pre-CBS style "Spaghetti" Jazzmaster logo, with Kluson-style locking tuning machines which turn smoothly and hold pitch well. All of the electronics function flawlessly, the chrome hardware is positively gleaming, and the plastic parts are in near mint condition save for some requisite pick scuffing across the pickguard. The vibrato unit works smoothly and engages easily for quick warbles and surfy dives, working in concert with the bridge which has individually height adjustable Mustang-style barrel saddles, offering more substance and stability than vintage Jazzmaster saddles. The gloss Olympic White finish shows only a few small nicks on the body parameter and some additional shallow scattered marks on the lower bout on the back. The satin-finished neck profile is flawless.***We are dealers for the Mastery M2 bridge and Offset Vibrato, Lollar Jazzmaster pickups, and G&G Fender hardshell cases, any of which can be installed/included prior to shipment for an additional charge***
