Up for sale, a 2019 Fender Hybrid ‘60s Jazz Bass, showroom-clean and finished in rare custom color Sherwood Green. Made exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and select international territories, the Hybrid ‘60s Jazz Bass is an upscale, discontinued model that blends old and new, featuring a pair of Fender USA Vintage pickups, USA-spec CTS pots, a satin neck profile finish, a carved bone nut, and modern 9 1/2" fretboard radius on the slab rosewood fretboard.
Featuring the classic tonewood pairing of an alder body and maple neck capped with a slab rosewood fretboard, this bass weighs 9lbs 1oz, yielding a smooth, balanced acoustic sound. The pair of factory-installed Fender USA Vintage Jazz Bass pickups deliver strong note attack, with upper midrange burp and grind at the bridge and woody punch at the neck. The tone can get quite broad too by rolling off the bridge pickup Volume and Master Tone control, for a rich sound that doesn't lack definition. This Hybrid ‘60s Jazz Bass has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.
