Featuring the classic tonewood pairing of an alder body and maple neck capped with a slab rosewood fretboard, this bass weighs 9lbs 6oz, yielding a smooth, balanced acoustic sound. The pair of factory-installed Fender Pure Vintage Jazz Bass pickups deliver strong note attack, with upper midrange burp and grind at the bridge and woody punch at the neck. The tone can get quite broad too by rolling off the bridge pickup Volume and Master Tone control, for a rich sound that doesn't lack definition. This Hybrid ‘60s Jazz Bass has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.
