Up for sale, a 2019 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Dennis Galuszka ‘62 Jazzmaster NOS in mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original G&G hardshell case, CoA and hangtags. The highest tier of Fender's Custom Shop, the Masterbuilt models are made by a singular master craftsman, in contrast to other "team built" Custom Shop tiers. This Tele was handcrafted by Dennis Galuszka, who has made instruments for artists including Paul McCartney, Andy Summers, and Johnny Marr. This particular Jazzmaster sports a NOS (new old stock) Dark Lake Placid Blue nitro lacquer finish accented with a mint pickguard, Curtis Novak JM pickups, upgraded Mastery OMV vibrato, and RSD bridge.
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab AAA Indian rosewood fretboard, and this Jazzmaster is lightweight at 7lbs 8oz. Tonally, there's plenty to be excited about here, with the rich detail, chime, and twang associated with the Jazzmaster single coil pickups. The Curtis Novak JM pickups, custom-wound for Galuszka, feature flush-mount, unbeveled alnico magnet pole pieces. Novak's Jazzmaster pickups have a vintage-centric woody quality and sparkling percussive cut, offering more body than many Jazzmaster pickups, particularly in the bridge position. Switching to the Rhythm Circuit on the bass side body horn yields even more thickness and heft. This Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Jazzmaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The NOS Dark Lake Placid Blue nitro lacquer finish is an incredibly dark, rich iteration of that particular custom color, and this guitar has been very well-kept since new, with barely a scratch on the body. The smooth gloss on the neck profile is similarly pristine.
The original brown tolex G&G hardshell case is included, along with the CoA, Floor Traveler, and all hangtags. The CoA is signed by Dennis Galuszka and dated 07/16/2019.
