Up for sale, a 2019 Fender Char Mustang Limited Edition Zicca Ax in near-mint condition, finished in Sumi Iro ("Ink Black") complete with matching headstock. A rare Japanese domestic market model, the Char Mustang was briefly available with exclusive cosmetic features via an even more limited run from Zicca Records.

As one of Japan's most influential guitarists, Char's signature Mustang model features a Strat-style vibrato unit, redesigned switching, a satin neck profile finish, modern 9 1/2" fretboard radius, and repositioned knobs so that volume swells can be more easily achieved akin to a Stratocaster. Tonewoods include a basswood body, maple neck, and thick slab rosewood fretboard for a smooth, clear acoustic tone. And plugged in, the pickups deliver plenty of signature Fender sparkle and spank. This Mustang is featherweight at 6lbs 9oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.
