2018 Squier by Fender Vintage Modified Precision Bass Fretless Sunburst

Up for sale, a 2018 Squier Vintage Modified Precision Bass Fretless model in near mint condition and in perfect working order. Squier’s first fretless Precision Bass offers the traditional round and broad sound of the split coil P Bass pickup, balanced with the smooth tonal character of flatwound strings and glassy treble presence and articulation of the ebonal fretboard. We've had this Squier professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with comfortable action and spot-on intonation.The maple neck has a slender C shaped profile with modest shoulder and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .800” deep at the 1st fret and .890” at the 12th. The ebonal fretboard features fret line markers and small side dots for pitch accuracy and easy navigation. The bass features a full 34" scale length and the nut measures 1 5/8" in width. The chrome-plated clover button tuners turn smoothly and hold pitch well.On the body, the stock electronics work as they should, with Master Volume and Tone knobs governing the traditional P Bass split coil pickup. The chrome four-saddle bridge and knurled knobs are clean as can be, and the tortoise pickguard still retains the original factory clear protective plastic, a testament to how little this bass has been played since new. Save for a few minuscule marks, this instrument shows sparingly little wear on the Sunburst gloss finish, and the neck profile is equally pristine.
