Up for sale, a 2018 Schecter AR-06 offset electric guitar in exceptional condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hangtags and padded Schecter gigbag. With an amalgam of Jazzmaster and Jaguar HH features, the AR-06 is a rare Japanese-made Schecter model, 100% original save or an upgraded Dimarzio DP155 Tone Zone humbucker. Weighing 8lbs 6oz, this Schecter boasts an alder body, maple neck, and 24 fret slab rosewood fingerboard with an ultra flat 16" radius. The neck position Schecter Monster Tone J ceramic magnet single coil has plenty of punch and cut, pairing well with the Dimarzio DP155 Tone Zone in the bridge position. The Tone Zone has the most dramatic tone curve of Dimarzio's Modern Classic humbuckers, delivering the vowel-like open wah-wah feel of their PAF Pro and FRED pickups, combined with tremendous midrange and bass for a particularly powerful, pummeling sound. We've had this Schecter dialed in here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation. The maple neck has a smooth satin finish on the profile with a slender C shape that has lightly rolled fretboard edges for added comfort. The profile measures .820" deep at the 1st fret and .910" at the 12th. The slender frets are flawless on the 24 fret slab rosewood fretboard, and the 16" radius makes extreme bending possible with notes that sing and sustain. The scale length is a full 25 1/2", and the nut measures 42mm in width. The gloss Black-finished headstock features Gotoh locking tuning machines that ensure optimal stability. All of the electronics function as intended, with a three-way pickup selector switch on the lower bout body horn, a two-way kill switch on the hexagonal control plate, and individual Tone switches for each pickup on the same plate. Master Volume and Tone knobs round out the control array. Hardware includes a tune-o-matic bridge and corresponding stopbar, and the chrome plating is clean as can be. Cosmetic wear on the gloss Black finish is limited to a couple small dings just below the neck bolts, and just a few tiny additional nicks and faint finish scratches on the body as a whole. The Schecter-branded padded gigbag and factory paperwork is included.
