Up for sale, a 2018 Reverend Club King 290 in near mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtags. A feature-rich guitar with a pair of Reverend's custom-made P-90 pickups, the Club King 290 features semi-hollow Korina body construction. Carved from the top, the back and sides of each 290 are made from a single piece of korina, and this lightweight wood is highly prized for tonal consistency, resonance and harmonic richness. The korina body is capped by a solid spruce top.

The P-90 pickups have the midrange bite and glassy note attack you’d expect, adding just the right amount of raw edge to the naturally complex and woody tones of the korina and spruce tonewood complement. With excellent sustain and pronounced note attack, the tone is big, unique, and responsive. The guitar weighs 8lbs, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The neck has Reverend's "Medium Oval" neck carve, a fairly slender C shape with just enough shoulder and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .825" deep at the 1st fret and .865" at the 12th. The maple fretboard features a 12" radius and original medium jumbo fretwire which is nigh flawless, playing easily up the 25 1/2" scale with a straight neck and responsive, optimally adjusted truss rod. The synthetic Boneite nut measures 1 11/16" in width, and the locking tuners turn smoothly and hold pitch exceedingly well, given their pin-lock construction.

All of the electronics work as intended, with Reverend's Bass Contour knob which is a passive bass roll-off, great for tightening up the low end, or revoicing the pickups. It can make a humbucker sound like a single coil, or give a P-90 classic twang. All pots and caps have tight 10% tolerances and the treble bleed circuit on the Volume knob guarantees no loss of top end detail as you roll down the knob. Hardware includes a roller bridge that works in concert with the Bigsby B5 vibrato for smooth, expressive warbles via Reverend's proprietary soft touch spring.

The Deep Sea Blue gloss body finish is accented by a brown tortoise pickguard, and the chrome hardware is positively gleaming. Wear is limited to just a couple exceedingly minor nicks on the body as a whole, while the satin finish on the neck profile is flawless.

The original two-tone hardshell case is included, along with the original hangtags.
