Up for sale, a 2018 Fender Traditional 60s Telecaster Custom in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hangtags and gigbag. With a gloss Arctic White FSR (Factory Special Run) finish framed by black binding on the top and back of the instrument, this discontinued Tele was made in Japan only for select international markets, not available in the USA.

Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck and thick slab rosewood fretboard, yielding a clear, balanced acoustic quality with notable fundamental warmth, qualities that translate well through the alnico magnet single coil pickup pair. The bridge position offers plenty of snap and sparkle, while the neck position has a percussive, bell-like chime. The guitar weighs 7lbs 7oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.

The maple neck has a chunky C-shaped profile carve with generous shoulder in every register and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .860” deep at the 1st fret and .915” at the 12th. The slab rosewood fretboard has Fender’s traditional 7 1/4” radius, and the original slender fretwire is flawless. This guitar plays cleanly in all registers up the 25 1/2" scale with a straight neck and responsive, optimally-adjusted truss rod. The nut measures 42mm (1.650”) in width, carved from bone for optimal note clarity and sustain. On the headstock, the Kluson-style tuners turn smoothly and hold stable pitch.

All of the electronics work as they should, with the single coil pickups wired to the original harness with untouched solder joints and USA-made CTS 250k pots. The hardware has clean chrome plating, comprising the “Pat. Pending” bridge which has vintage-spec spiral saddles, flat-topped knurled knobs and control plate. The three-ply black pickguard rounds out the plastics, with notable pick scuffing across the strum path. The Arctic White gloss finish is whiter and brighter than Olympic White, and cosmetic wear is limited to some small, shallow dings across the back and just a few small marks behind the bridge on top. The ambered gloss finish on the neck profile is clean and smooth.

The original Fender-branded gigbag is included, along with the original hangtags and Fender-branded strap.
