Up for sale, a 2018 Fender Traditional ‘60s Telecaster Custom in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original gigbag and hangtags. This discontinued “Made in Japan” Tele is an FSR (Factory Special Run) iteration featuring a gloss Arctic White finish framed on both sides by black binding, produced only for Japan and select international markets.

Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck and slab rosewood fretboard, and this Tele has a fundamental warmth that translates well through the alnico magnet single coil pickup pair. The bridge position offers plenty of snap and sparkle, while the neck position has a percussive, bell-like chime. The guitar weighs 7lbs 12oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.

Neck Specs:

-Wood: Maple
-Shape: Medium C, full shoulders, measuring .850” 1st fret, .905” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Rosewood, 7 1/4” vintage-spec radius
-Frets: Slender, virtually no wear
-Scale Length: 25 1/2”
-Nut: 1.650” (42mm), bone
-Tuners: Kluson-style, Gotoh
-Serialization: “Made in Japan,” JD17-prefix (Fender serial lookup dates production to ‘18)

Body Specs:

-Wood: Alder
-Pickups: Vintage-Style single coil x2
-Controls: Volume, Tone, Three-way pickup selector
-Hardware: “Pat. Pend” bridge with spiral (threaded) saddles, flat-top knurled knobs
-Plastics: Three-ply black pickguard, “top hat” switch tip

The gloss Arctic White finish is very bright, and cosmetic wear is limited to scuffing along the strum path, very light buckle rash on the back, and a scant few tiny dings on the body as a whole. The smooth ambered gloss on the neck profile is flawless.

The original gigbag is included, along with the hangtags.
