Up for sale, a 2018 Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay 4 H Neck Through model in showroom clean condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. A premium iteration of the flagship instrument in the Music Man line, this StingRay boasts three-piece maple neck through construction with ash body wings, ensuring an incredibly rich, resonant response for the ever popular Music Man humbucker. Governed by a recently redesigned preamp, the active 3-band EQ provides a full and robust tone while retaining excellent clarity and crisp attack. The alnico humbucker offers a range of tones from punchy and articulate with rich growl, to thick, round thump. The bass weighs 9lbs 3oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and spot-on intonation. The three-piece male neck has a round C profile carve with much of the shoulder attributable to the particularly thick slab rosewood fretboard, measuring .860" deep at the 1st fret and .999" at the 12th.  On the 11" radius dark rosewood fretboard, the original high profile wide stainless steel fretwire is flawless, and notes ring out clearly up the 34" scale. The compensated nut measures 1 11/16" in width, and the headstock features chrome tuning machines. The electronics function flawlessly, with a Master Volume knob in addition to the 3-band active EQ circuit. The hardware shines like new, and there's barely a scratch on the gloss Black finish. The original hardshell case is included.
