Up for sale, a 2017 Wire Instruments OC Fuzz in mint condition, complete with the original box and paperwork. Part of a limited run of 30 units, this pedal is numbered and signed by it’s maker, Earnie Bailey, featuring a three transistor 1968 Marshall SupaFuzz-style circuit with a pair of OC76s and an OC75.
The three germanium transistors are hand-matched, with a bias resistor chosen to match their unique output. The circuit is governed by simple Level and Gain knobs, delivering the thick, aggressive sound of a ‘60s SupaFuzz with a deeper low end than other Tone Bender circuits.
