This “Made in Japan” Strat is a discontinued model, uncommon outside of its country of origin, featuring a custom color Sapphire Blue Trans gloss finish.Tonewoods include an alder body and a one-piece maple neck, and this Strat has an acoustic profile with good articulation and a barking midrange faithfully captured by the stock trio of single coil pickups. These "Vintage-Style" pickups deliver sparkling cut in the bridge position, additional warmth and bell-like sweetness at the neck, and thinned-out quack via the 2 and 4 positions on the five-way pickup selector switch.
