Up for sale, a 2017 Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster “Blackie” in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original tweed hardshell case, hangtags, and case candy. A faithful iteration of Clapton's personal axe, this Strat features a satin-finished soft V neck shape, Vintage Noiseless pickups, active Mid-Boost circuitry, and a TBX Tone control.
The guitar is acoustically resonant, with a snappy, chiming tone from the select alder body and one-piece maple neck that translates well though the Vintage Noiseless pickups. These single coils have a sparkling response and hum-free performance, and each position on the five-way switch yields a distinct tone, from bridge pickup bite to great warmth and bell-like chime in the neck position. This guitar weighs 7lbs 15oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

Cosmetic wear on the gloss Black finish is limited to a few pinhead-sized dings on the body as a whole, and a few faint finish scratches in the clear coat on the back. The smooth satin finish on the neck profile is immaculate and highlights subtle flame figuring in the maple.
The original G&G tweed hardshell case is included, along with all factory hangtags and case candy, including a small piece of wood to block the vibrato system (as per Clapton spec).
