Up for sale, a 2017 Fender American Original ‘50s Telecaster in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original tweed hardshell case, CoA, all hangtags, and case candy. A short-lived and now discontinued spin on the early '50s "Blackguard" Telecaster platform, this Fender is stunningly well-executed, with a nitro lacquer Butterscotch finish, Pure Vintage '52 pickups and modern three-way switching, a vintage-correct U-shaped neck profile carve and a modern 9 1/2" fretboard radius.
Tonewoods include an ash body and one-piece maple neck, this Tele cuts and twangs with the best, delivering plenty of sparkling sonic authority in every pickup position. From chewy bridge position bite to bell-like neck pickup chime, this Tele covers all the essential tonal bases, with great clarity, midrange cut, and focused treble articulation. Lightweight at 7lbs 2oz, this American Original ‘50s Tele has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
