Up for sale, a 2017 Fender '65 Custom Princeton Reverb Limited Edition in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original footswitch and slip cover. This Limited Edition version of the '65 Princeton Reverb features British Racing Green tolex, wheat grillcloth, cream barrel knobs, and a 12" Celestion Greenback G12M speaker.
This amp captures the robust, sparkling cleans of Fender's mid-60s Princeton Reverb circuit with great detail and nuance. Warm and clear at low volumes, the amp breaks up smoothly when pushed hard and is an excellent pedal platform. And with tube-driven spring Reverb and a nice choppy tremolo circuit, the Princeton's onboard effects round out the ideal studio and stage combo. The circuit has been upgraded by Fromel Electronics with higher quality tone capacitors and electrolytics.
While a Princeton Reverb traditionally has a 10" driver, the 12" Celestion G12M speaker offers more low end and headroom, rated at 25 watts. This speaker compliments the Princeton's circuit very well, delivering broad midrange attack with restrained highs, resulting in a forward attitude for punchy chords with a distinctive growl.
The amp functions flawlessly with sparingly little wear on the enclosure, and cosmetics include British Racing Green tolex, wheat grillcloth, and a Black Panel faceplate with cream barrel knobs. Beneath the tube chart, the July 3rd, 2017 dated sticker is present.
The original two-button footswitch and slip cover is included.
