Up for sale, a 2016 Rickenbacker 660 in mint condition, complete with the original molded hardshell case and hangtags. This iteration of Rickenbacker’s premier solidbody model features a gloss custom color Ruby finish accented by dual-tiered gold pickguard and checkerboard binding; the Ruby finish was discontinued shortly after this guitar’s production in 2016. This particular 660 was also part of Sam Ash’s “Guitars of Distinction” program, handpicked instruments selected for their quality, performance, and feel.

The maple neck-through construction ensures a certain resonance, articulation and clear treble cut, providing an ideal platform for the pair of Toaster Top pickups. These classic pickups feature Rickenbacker’s modern scatterwound Toaster wind, delivering a percussive sparkle and quintessential Rickenbacker jangle, harmonically-rich and sensitive to picking dynamics. Lightweight at 7lbs 4oz, this 660 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
