This premium iteration of the White Falcon platform is exceedingly faithful to vintage spec, delivering traditional aesthetics and an array of vital, golden age Gretsch tonalities. Premium features include a pair of USA-made TV Jones Classic Filter’Tron humbuckers, a Vintage White nitro lacquer finish, and gold hardware including a Bigsby B6GVT vibrato and jeweled "G" pointer knobs.
Tonewoods include a ‘59-style trestle-braced fully hollow maple body, and a maple neck capped with a bound ebony fingerboard. Acoustically, the instrument has a bold, sonically deep natural tone with the quick note attack, punch and immediacy attributable to the tonewoods and trestle bracing. The pair of TV Jones Classic Filter’Tron pickups have notable clarity, sparkle and muscle; the neck position Filter'Tron humbucker has a thick, silky tone, while the bridge position offers a cutting growl and midrange emphasis.
