Up for sale, a 2016 Gibson Custom Shop 50s J-45 in exceptional condition, complete with a hardshell case and COA. This uncommon Custom Shop iteration of the J-45 has a traditional mid-50s look and feel with a large tortoise pickguard, Kluson-style single line strip tuners, and a full-feeling C-shaped profile carve, along with boasting a factory-installed L.R. Baggs Element pickup assembly.
Featuring a traditional slope shoulder dreadnought shape, hand-scalloped X bracing, solid Sitka spruce top, and solid mahogany back and sides, the tone is lively and sparkling with articulate trebles, ample warmth and muscle and a rich, balanced tonal profile. The guitar has plenty of projection and a very even response across the strings, highly responsive to picking dynamics. The instrument weighs 4lbs 4oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 12-53 strings and easy-playing action.
