Up for sale, a 2016 Fender “Manhattan” Guitar Magazine 35th Anniversary Telecaster in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Number 9 of a limited run of just 35 instruments, this “Made in Japan” Telecaster was built to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Japanese periodical Guitar Magazine, pairing a Thin-Skin Black nitro lacquer finish and one-ply gold plexi pickguard with a “Roller” Gold Foil neck pickup.
Weighing 7lbs 12oz, this Manhattan Telecaster’s ash body and maple neck deliver a vital, lively acoustic response with plenty of midrange heft and detail. The unique pickup configuration includes a "Roller" Gold Foil neck pickup and a vintage-style single coil at the bridge; the bridge has plenty of quintessential Tele twang and snap, pairing very well with the overall balance, clarity, and fullness afforded by the gold foil design. This Manhattan Telecaster has been professionally set up here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
