Up for sale, a 2016 Fender "Japan Exclusive" Classic 60s Telecaster Custom, near-mint and 100% original, complete with hangtags. This Telecaster Custom is a discontinued model, produced briefly for the Japanese domestic market and select international territories. Essentially identical to the TL62B model which preceded it, this Telecaster captures the look and feel of a vintage example. Tonewoods include a bound ash body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, finished in custom color Transparent Blue.
At 7lbs 11oz, the tonewoods deliver the clear note attack and midrange detail of ash, with the warmth of the rosewood board. The pickups produce a wide range of Tele tones, with gutsy twang at the bridge and a fuller, bell-like quality at the neck.
