Up for sale, a 2016 Ernie Ball Music Man Cutlass bass in showroom clean 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case, factory paperwork, and case candy. A now discontinued and increasingly difficult to find Music Man Model, this Cutlass is finished in gloss Diamond Blue with streamlined, modern appointments for ultimate comfort and playability. Part of the Modern Class line, the Cutlass features a lightweight contoured alder body, maple neck and fretboard, and stock split-coil humbucking pickup. The pickup features alnico V magnets, producing round bottom end and a bright treble character, with plenty of broad thump and ideal punch when you dig in. Weighing 8lbs 7oz, this Cutlass has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The maple neck has a comfortably rounded medium C-shaped profile carve with modest shoulder and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .860” at the 1st fret and .940” at the 12th. The frets are pristine on the 7 1/4" radius board, and the bass plays easily up the 34" scale. The satin-finished profile feels great on the palm, and the contoured five-bolt neck heel allows for easy access to the highest registers of the fretboard. The compensated 1 5/8" wide nut ensures ideal intonation, and the Music Man-embossed Schaller BM tuners with tapered posts and clover buttons turn smoothly with gleaming chrome plating.

The simple electronics function flawlessly, with a Master Volume and Tone control for the split-coil humbucker. The hardware shines like new, including the knurled knobs and top-loader bridge. The three-ply white pickguard compliments the pristine gloss Diamond Blue finish, akin to Fender's Sonic Blue in its tint and saturation.

The original hardshell case, factory paperwork, and case candy is included.
