Up for sale, a 2016 Danocaster Single Cut T-Series ‘Blackguard’ in mint condition, complete with a Fender-branded G&G hardshell case. One of the most celebrated and in-demand builders of the modern era, Dan Strain’s guitars capture the zeitgeist of Fender’s golden age. This faithful recreation of a Blackguard ‘52-spec Telecaster is loaded with a set of Peter Florance Voodoo ‘Nocaster’ pickups.

Featherweight at 6lbs 4oz, tonewoods include a two-piece ash body and a one-piece maple neck with a “Fat Back C” carve matching an early Tele in founder Dan Strain’s collection. The build composition gives this guitar a fittingly bold, muscly quality, and the Voodoo Nocaster pickups bring every ounce of expected Telecaster twang, but with a bit more drive, texture and sweetness in the neck and tasteful, fat heat at the bridge, all while retaining balanced, classic vintage Telecaster voicing. This Danocaster Single Cut benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with fresh 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
