Up for sale, a 2015 Fender Telecaster Thinline Super Deluxe in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A perfect middle ground between a Fender Telecaster Thinline and a Gretsch Black Falcon, this guitar boasts a semi-hollow body framed in multi-ply binding, complete with chrome-plated hardware, a silver plexi pickguard, and a pair of Gretsch-style Fideli'Tron humbuckers. Both visually and tonally, this is an impressive guitar and a rare, discontinued model produced by Fender Japan, limited to a 150 instrument production run.
At only 7lbs 1oz, this Tele is both lightweight and acoustically resonant, with a natural tone that is snappy and warm. The Fideli'Tron pickups capture the complex midrange and dynamic, rich response of Gretsch's best humbuckers, and the three-way pickup selector switch yields everything from bridge position cut to thick, burly neck pickup roar. Professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, this Telecaster Super Deluxe is dialed in with 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.
