Up for sale, a 2015 Fender Road Worn ‘60s Stratocaster, upgraded with a set of Lollar pickups and a Fender Custom Shop pre-wired pickguard with Modern Wiring harness, complete with a hardshell case. This discontinued Strat iteration was designed to capture the playability and feel of a vintage instrument that has been well-loved for decades, sporting a gently relic’d Candy Apple Red nitro lacquer finish and a smooth satin-finished neck profile.

Traditional tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fingerboard, and this Road Worn ‘60s Strat weighs 7lbs 5oz. The trio of Lollar single coil pickups comprise a pair of Vintage Blondes in the neck and middle positions and a Vintage Blackface (since rebranded as the Sixty-Four) at the bridge: inspired by early ‘60s pre-CBS Strat magic and one of Jason Lollar’s most prized designs, the Sixty-Four is full of character, with prominent mids, clear trebles, and a piano-like attack. The Vintage Blondes are designed to capture the chime and quack of ‘50s Strats, with scooped mids and a bright-yet-smooth sound. This Road Worn ‘60s Stratocaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
