Up for sale, a 2015 Fender Japan Exclusive Classic ‘70s Mustang in excellent, 100% original condition, complete with hangtags. A rebranding of the MG69/MH model from the year prior and identically spec’d, this Japanese domestic market model is uncommon outside of its country of origin.
Lightweight at 6lbs 14oz, this Mustang has a smooth, cutting voice when strummed acoustically, qualities which translate well through the pickups. The single coils have a clear, sparkling tone, and the on/off/on pickup selector switches can also engage the distinctive Mustang out-of-phase sound in the innermost and outermost positions. This Classic ‘70s Mustang has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, dialed in with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
