Up for sale, a 2015 Fender Japan Exclusive Classic ‘60s Stratocaster in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, finished in custom color Sonic Blue. Essentially a rebranding of the ST62-US model, this Stratocaster was made for the Japanese domestic market, outfitted with a trio of Fender's American Vintage 57/62 black bobbin single coils.
The factory-installed Fender American Vintage 57/62 black bobbin single coils are faithful to vintage spec with staggered alnico magnets, black fiber bobbins, and cloth-covered leads, delivering classic sparkle and cut. The bridge pickup has great clarity and treble zing, the neck pickup is smooth and broad, and positions 2 and 4 on the five-way switch offer quintessential Strat quack. This Classic ‘60s Stratocaster weighs 7lbs 9oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
