Up for sale, a 2015 Fender Blues Junior Limited Edition "NOS" Lacquered Tweed in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a cover. One of Fender's more enduringly popular, versatile, and reliable modern compact tube amp designs, this Lacquered Tweed edition boasts a look that mirrors that of the classic Fender amps of the 1950s, right down to the chrome control plate and chicken head knobs.
This amp’s single channel master volume equipped circuit offers ample headroom and smooth grit at manageable volumes. The “Fat" tone/boost switch thickens things up when needed, and a spring reverb adds dimension and splash. The tube complement comprises three 12AX7s in the preamp and a matched pair of fresh Sovtek-branded EL84 power tubes.
The Jensen C12N speaker is a factory upgrade only offered on the limited edition Blues Junior models, boasting a clean frame and the original cone. This speaker is plenty powerful and clear, offering the kind of hi-fi detail and smooth, even response for which Jensen is known.
This is an exceptionally clean example, with barely a mark on the Lacquered Tweed, and the grillcloth and white silkscreen text on the faceplate are pristine. The original leather handle, chickenhead knobs, and quartet of feet are also present.
