Up for sale, a 2015 Fender '68 Custom Vibrolux Reverb in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original two-button footswitch. A model available for a surprisingly brief period of time and already discontinued, this 2x10 combo delivers 35 watts rich, dynamic all-tube tone. Replicating the look of Fender's "drip edge" amps from 1968-69, this Vibrolux has clean, vintage-inspired looks and a very versatile control array. A member of the Vintage Modified series, this amp has two distinctly voiced channels. The Vintage channel serves up traditional Vibrolux cleans with a smooth, balanced platform ideal for pedals while retaining ample sparkle and presence. The custom channel sports a modified Bassman tone stack with a rich, muscular sound. Both channels share tube-driven Reverb and Tremolo, and for outstanding touch sensitivity, the amp is calibrated for reduced negative feedback and quicker gain onset. The amp is loaded with its original Celestion 10" ceramic magnet speaker pair, and the tube chart is intact inside the cabinet. Cosmetic wear is notably sparse, and the amp features clean black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth. The polished aluminum faceplate is near-mint with its full complement of witch hat knobs. The original two-button footswitch is included.
