Up for sale, a 2015 ESP Edwards E-SA-168GJ semi-hollowbody in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and factory documentation. A premium Japanese-made iteration of the 355 platform, the E-SA-168GJ has top-tier features throughout including multi-ply binding, a genuine ebony fingerboard, factory-installed USA-made Seymour Duncan humbuckers, and gold-plated hardware including a Bigsby B7 vibrato tailpiece.
Unlike a Gibson ES-355 which has all laminate body construction, this Edwards boasts a solid, carved maple top and back, delivering a cutting midrange and a bold, muscular low end. Dynamic and clear, these defining qualities translate well through the USA-made Seymour Duncan SH55 Seth Lover humbuckers. Named after the architect of the PAF and surgically accurate in their materials and tonal response, these humbuckers deliver a warm, open tone with a smooth-yet-articulate sound and just the right balance of lows and trebles. This E-SA-168GJ weighs 8lbs 14oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
