Up for sale, a 2015 ESP Edwards E-FV-125WB Flying V in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original padded gigbag and factory documentation. This iteration of the iconic two-tone Michael Schenker (Scorpions, UFO) Flying V was crafted by ESP in Japan under the Edwards banner. While there are numerous Japanese-made iterations of the Schenker-style V, this Edwards is one of the finest examples, featuring solid mahogany construction and a pair of USA-made Seymour Duncan humbuckers.

The neck humbucker is a Seymour Duncan ‘59 PAF-style humbucker; one of Seymour Duncan’s most popular offerings, this pickup is prized for its versatility and warm, full sound with clear attack and sweet, singing sustain. The bridge pickup is an SD Custom, a slightly overwound humbucker described by Duncan as a “PAF on steroids.” It has tight lows, a bump in the upper midrange that gives more character and crunch, and an airy high end that cuts through heavy distortion and also translates to crystal-clear clean tones. This E-FV-125WB weighs 7lbs 9oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

This is a very well-kept instrument, with cosmetic wear on the two-tone gloss finish limited to two small dings on the bass-side perimeter and a tiny mark on top just south of the bridge. The smooth gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
