Up for sale, a 2015 Danocaster Double Cut S-Style relic in showroom-clean, 100% original condition, complete with the original spec sheet/hangtag. One of the most celebrated and in-demand builders of the modern era, Dan Strain’s guitars capture the zeitgeist of Fender’s golden age. This very faithful spin on a pre-CBS Stratocaster pairs a slab rosewood fretboard with Danocaster’s medium C neck carve, modeled on Dan’s personal ‘66, along with a two-piece alder body, Raw Vintage Synchronized Tremolo, and a set of Arcane ‘61 Experience single coil pickups.

Lightweight at just 7lbs 3oz, this Double Cut has a clear, balanced natural acoustic quality and plenty of ‘60s Strat sparkle and chime. The trio of Arcane ‘61 Experience single coils were wound by hand in Los Angeles, California using only the finest components including select staggered/beveled Alnico V magnets and cloth-covered leads. Wound with period-correct wire on black fiber bobbins, every Arcane pickup is meticulously hand-assembled and lacquer-potted, delivering a sound that’s rich and textured. This Double Cut has been professionally set up here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with fresh 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
