Up for sale, a 2015 Benedetto Bravo Elite Custom archtop in showroom-clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and owner’s manual. Founded in 1968 by master luthier Robert Benedetto in Savannah, Georgia, Benedetto Guitars have crafted some of the finest archtops and jazz guitars available for more than 50 years. This one-of-one Bravo Elite Custom features a full 16” lower bout width with a relatively slender 2 1/2“ body depth and a Venetian cutaway for exceptional playability and comfort.

The premium tonewood complement comprises an unbound parallel-braced, hand-graduated select carved spruce top, heritage mahogany carved back and sides recovered from a Brazilian river bed, and a Honduran mahogany neck capped with a slab ebony fingerboard. Offering bold midrange chop, exquisite detail, and exceptional dynamics, this archtop has a notably smooth, balanced response, accentuated by the 12-53 flatwound strings. There is exquisite warmth and glassy articulation in all registers. The trebles are equal parts sweetness and immediacy, simply leaping from the fretboard, and there’s an airy quality to the low end with a pronounced, responsive low-mid cut. The Seymour Duncan-built Benedetto B6 humbucker is designed to capture the natural tone of the instrument without any additional color. This Bravo Elite Custom weighs 5lbs 14oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with easy-playing action and accurate intonation.
