Up for sale, a 2014 Kramer Baretta Vintage in mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with an aftermarket upgrade hardshell case. The Baretta Vintage captures the clean lines, ripping tone, and streamlined features of one of the '80s most ubiquitous Superstrats. With a maple body, maple neck, and thick slab rosewood fretboard, the natural acoustic sound is both immediate and warm, channeled through the USA-made Seymour Duncan TB4 "JB" Trembucker.
The slanted zebra bobbin Seymour Duncan JB is their original hot-rodded humbucker, offering ample output, rich harmonics and sweet, singing sustain. The Volume knob is also a push/pull coil split for snappy, sparkling single coil sounds. Weighing 8lbs 8oz, we've had this Baretta professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action and accurate intonation.
The maple neck has a "Kramer Thin" profile carve, a slender C shape with nicely rounded shoulders, largely due to the particularly thick slab rosewood fretboard which also has lightly rolled edges for added comfort. The profile measures .825" deep at the 1st fret and .900" at the 12th. The rosewood fretboard has a 14" radius and flawless medium jumbo fretwire that plays cleanly up the straight neck and 25 1/2" scale. The locking nut measures 1 5/8" in width, and the black tuners turn smoothly.
The simple electronics function flawlessly, with a single Volume knob governing the Seymour Duncan TB4 Trembucker. Hardware includes the genuine Floyd Rose R2 locking tremolo, complete with EVH "D-Tuna" for instant Drop D functionality. There's barely a scratch on the gloss White body finish, and the satin neck profile finish is equally pristine.
An upgrade aftermarket hardshell case is included.
