Up for sale, a 2014 Fender American Vintage ‘65 Jaguar in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case, hangtags, and case candy. Offered for just a few short years at the end of the original American Vintage run and now discontinued, the '65 American Vintage models are extremely well-made and faithful to their vintage forbearers. This particular Jaguar features a "Flash Coat" nitro lacquer Ice Blue Metallic finish with matching headstock. A rebranding of the Thin Skin concept, the finish is pure, thin nitro without a poly sealer coat, ensuring optimal acoustic resonance.
The AV65 gray bobbin single coils are snappier, brighter, and more vintage-correct than previous Jaguar reissue pickup winds, and the guitar offers a balanced, sweet sound and great clarity for strummed passages and shimmering lead lines. Engage the Rhythm Circuit for darker, meatier tones, or click on the "strangle" switch in the Lead Circuit for even thinner tic-tac sounds.
