Up for sale, a 2014 Pin Up "April" T-Style electric guitar in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Handcrafted in the USA by Eric Daw, Pin Up instruments are among the finest boutique Fender-style instruments on the market today, with hand-selected tonewoods and premium components throughout. Featuring a one-piece ash body finished in a relic'd White Blonde and a one-piece maple neck, this T-style instrument harnesses this traditional tonewood complement to great effect.

Extremely lively and bell-like in its acoustic response, this T-style's natural properties are channeled through a handwound pickup pair, also made in-house by Eric Daw. These pickups feature alnico magnets and offer a traditional Tele tonal palette, with chewy twang and harmonically complex chime, aided by the inherent midrange heft and punch of the ash body and the glassy treble snap of the maple fretboard. Featherweight at 7lbs 2oz, we've dialed in the setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 roundwound strings.

The maple neck has a deep V-shaped profile carve, measuring .905" deep at the 1st fret and .960" at the 12th. The maple fretboard has a vintage-spec 7 1/4" fretboard radius and slender fretwire which shows only light wear beneath the plain strings on the crowns of frets 1-7. The scale length is a full 25 1/2", and the hand-carved bone nut measures 1 5/8" in width. The headstock features Gotoh-made Kluson-style tuning machines that turn smoothly and hold pitch well, along with a Pin-Up waterslide decal.

The electronics include CTS pots, a premium paper-in-oil tone cap, cloth-covered leads and a Switchcraft three-way pickup selector switch governing the hand-wound pickup pair. The bridge pickup cavity is marked with the #60 serial, matching the number stamped on the top edge of the headstock. The relic'd nickel hardware includes a trio of brass saddles for ideal top end articulation, and domed knurled knobs on the control plate.

The Blonde lacquer finish is accented by a single-ply black pickguard, and the aging applied by Pin Up on the pure nitro lacquer Blonde finish includes spiderweb lacquer checking, simulated forearm wear through the finish, and exposed bare ash along the back edge at the waist as well. Beyond the factory relic, there is a spot light buckle rash central to the back. The back of the guitar also features a pair of pinup decals unique to the instrument, a signature of Daw's handcrafted guitars. On the neck, there is light simulated palm wear down to the bare maple on the profile, and similar simulated wear on the treble side of the fretboard through the gloss.
