p for sale, a 2013 Suhr Classic T in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. John Suhr has more than 45 years of guitar building experience, including leading Fender's Custom Shop as a Senior Master Builder. Bringing his wealth of experience to his own brand beginning in 1997, the Suhr Classic T takes the traditional Telecaster platform and seamlessly blends both vintage and modern features for the ultimate in performance and playability. This particular Classic T boasts an HS pickup complement and a gloss Sunburst finish framed on top by faux binding (exposed ash).
This Classic T is lightweight at 6lbs 13oz, and tonewoods include a swamp ash body and a flame maple neck. The Classic T single coil pickup at the bridge features Alnico V magnet construction, designed to deliver an idealized version of classic Tele twang with smooth, rounded high trebles. The neck position SSV humbucker is a versatile pickup that pairs the warmth of a vintage humbucker with increased clarity and definition, pairing well with the single coil in the middle position for a “best of both worlds” sound. This Custom Classic T has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, dialed in with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
