Up for sale, a 2013 Ibanez J. Custom model RG7570ZE in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original molded hardshell case and owner’s manual. This top-tier Ibanez was crafted in Japan at the Fujigen factory, boasting a bevy of premium features including a AAA flamed maple top with a gloss Bright Brown Rutile finish, EMG active pickups (HSH), and Edge Zero tremolo with ZPS tuning stabilizer.
The trio of EMG pickups comprise two active EMG 89s and one EMG SA single coil: the EMG 89s can be toggled between humbucker and single coil functionality, with independent coils/preamps for each mode. The humbucker sound is rich, powerful and articulate, while the single coil mode is bright and cutting. The SA in the middle position is exceedingly clear and dynamic, pairing well with the 89s (in either mode) at the middle positions on the five-way pickup selector switch. This RG7570ZE weighs 7lbs 14oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
Neck Specs:
-Wood: Maple (three-piece, walnut stringers)
-Shape: RG J Custom (slender D), measuring .745” 1st fret, .820” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Ebony, 24-fret, dot inlay
-Frets: Jumbo, pristine
-Scale Length: 25 1/2”
-Nut: 1 11/16”, Barless Top Lok
-Headstock: Flame maple veneer
-Tuners: Gotoh SG381
-Serialization: F13-prefix
Body Specs:
-Wood: American basswood, AAA flame maple
-Pickups: EMG 89 x2, EMG SA x1
-Controls: Volume, Tone, Five-way pickup selector, two-way EMG 89 single coil/humbucker Mode mini-toggle
-Hardware: Edge Zero tremolo with ZPS tuning stabilizer, dome-top knurled knobs
The Bright Brown Rutile gloss finish highlights the tight, straight figuring in the bookmatched AAA flame maple top, and there are just a couple faint finish scratches on the body as a whole. The smooth satin finish on the neck profile is flawless.
The original molded hardshell case is included, along with the owner’s manual.
