Up for sale, a 2013 History SH-LSV/FM electric guitar in showroom clean condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Crafted exclusively for the Japanese market at the renowned Fujigen Gakki factory, this History is a top-notch take on the classic LP Standard platform. The guitar is constructed with American pioneer-era old growth “Heritage Wood” salvaged from the bottom of lakes, offering unmatched integrity and tone. Stunning both visually and tonally, this no-corners-cut instrument features a bookmatched curly flame maple veneer over a Heritage hard maple top, with a mahogany body and neck with long tenon joint capped with a bound rosewood fingerboard.

The seasoned tonewoods translate a traditional LP tonal palette through the stock pair of FH-6D humbuckers. These wax-potted pickups are dynamic, clear, and harmonically rich, with a sweet growl and cut in the bridge position, while the neck pickup retains plenty of attack and note clarity, offering a thicker sound ideal for lead work. The guitar weighs 9lbs 8oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with low action, solid intonation, and fresh 10-46 strings.

The mahogany neck has a slender C profile carve with modest shoulder, measuring .825” deep at the 1st fret and .935” at the 12th. The bound rosewood fingerboard features trapezoid inlay and History’s unique Circle Fretting System with pristine medium jumbo fretwire. The fretwire is imperceptibly curved, installed so that each string and fret intersect at right angles to minimize the contact surface, yielding more accurate pitch, longer sustaining notes, and truer harmonics. The guitar plays cleanly in every register up the straight neck with an ideally adjusted and responsive truss rod. The guitar conforms to specs familiar to any Gibson fan with a 24 3/4" scale length and a carved bone nut that measures 1 11/16" in width. The headstock features a pearloid inlaid History logo and Kluson-style tuners which turn smoothly and hold pitch well.

On the body, all of the electronics work as they should with a three-way pickup selector toggle and individual Volume and Tone knobs for each humbucker. The wiring harness also boasts full-size USA-made CTS 500k pots. Aside from light patina on the pickup covers, the nickel-plated hardware is practically spotless and includes the ABR-1-style bridge and corresponding stopbar. All of the original plastic parts are accounted for including the pickup rings, amber bonnet knobs, and the stock pickguard. As a testament to how little this guitar has been played since new, the factory clear protective plastic is still intact on the rear control cavity cover and switch plate. The Cherry Sunburst gloss finish has a '50s-spec burst gradient, highlighting the broad of bookmatched flame figuring that extends across the top. There's barely a scratch on the gloss, and this instrument has been babied since new.

The original History-branded dark gray hardshell case is included.
