This rare limited edition “Made in Japan” Stratocaster was crafted to celebrate 30 years of Fender Japan production, featuring a bookmatched quilted maple top on an alder body. Other features geared towards the modern player include medium jumbo fretwire and a 9 1/2" radius on the slab, 22-fret rosewood fretboard.

This ST62/QT has a round, resonant acoustic response. The ST-Single alnico magnet pickups offer a lively sparkling snap in the bridge position, with sweet, percussive cut and bell-like spank when toggling towards the neck on the five-way pickup selector. Weighing 8lbs, this ST62/QT has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss custom color Charcoal Burst finish presents as a bold sunburst, highlighting the deep figuring in the bookmatched quilted maple top. The thin finish has subtly settled into the grain of the alder on the back, and cosmetic wear is limited to some minor scuffs (and one small chip) on the treble-side lower bout perimeter and just a couple faint marks on the body as a whole. The ambered gloss on the neck profile is flawless and highlights birdseye figuring in the maple.
