Up for sale, a 2013 ESP Edwards model E-CY-165CTM in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A premium ESP-made offering produced under the Edwards banner exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, this E-CY-165CTM is a visually stunning instrument with no expense spared in terms of tonewoods and premium cosmetic appointments, outfitted with a pair of Seymour Duncan pickups.

This Edwards features neck-through construction with a seven-ply maple/walnut neck, ash body wings, a premium AAA quilted maple top, and a slab 27-fret ebony fretboard, weighing 8lbs 13oz. The neck pickup is an SCR-1n Cool Rails single coil-sized humbucker, and this dual-blade design lends itself to fat, crisp solos, delivering a full, round sound with plenty of low end warmth and a subtle mid scoop. The bridge pickup is a TB-5 Custom Trembucker, the so-called “PAF on steroids” with a powerful, punchy upper/midrange forward bite. This E-CY-165CTM has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Black Aqua (Transparent Blue) finish highlights the deep, dimensional figuring in the bookmatched quilted AAA maple top, and cosmetic wear is limited to very light buckle rash central to the back (largely relegated to the trem cavity cover), faint pick scuffing on top, and just a couple tiny marks on the body as a whole. The smooth satin finish on the neck profile is flawless.

The original ESP padded gigbag is included.
