Up for sale, a 2012 Fender Stratocaster ST72-FR in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. An obscure, non-catalog “Made in Japan” model virtually unseen outside its country of origin, this Fender features an HSH pickup configuration, Floyd Rose-style double locking tremolo, 22-fret maple fretboard with jumbo fretwire and a 12” radius, and distinctive large '70s headstock shape with block logo.
Weighing 8lbs 7oz, tonewoods include an ash body with a maple neck and maple fingerboard. Designed for high gain performance, the humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions dish out plenty of power and punch, with a middle position alnico magnet single coil pickup that’s ideal for cutting cleans and articulate phrasing. This Stratocaster ST72-FR has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with fresh 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
