Up for sale, a 2012 Fender Precision Bass ‘62 Fretless vintage reissue model PB62-FL in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This notably rare, non-catalog “Made in Japan” P Bass was made exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, uncommon outside of its country of origin, boasting an unlined fretless slab rosewood fingerboard.
Weighing 8lbs 11oz, tonewoods include a basswood body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fingerboard, yielding a balanced, smooth and deep natural acoustic quality. The split-coil pickup delivers thump and low end fullness, balanced by treble growl and sweetness, thick and round with the Tone knob rolled back to taste. This PB62-FL has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 flatwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
