Up for sale, a 2012 Fender Jazzmaster model JM66G in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This ultra-rare “Made in Japan” Jazzmaster is a non-catalog, limited edition model, one of purportedly only 30 such instruments, produced to celebrate the 30th year of Fender Japan production. Features include the traditional ‘58-spec tonewood complement of an ash body with a one-piece maple neck, and a gloss Blonde finish accented by a gold anodized aluminum pickguard and gold-plated hardware.
Weighing 7lbs 12oz, the ash body and maple neck yield a hyper-detailed, clear and full-bodied acoustic response with a certain woody, midrange-forward cut, faithfully captured by the stock pickup complement. The instrument has plenty of sparkle on tap, with a range of defined and powerful tones from the two single coil pickups, and warm, wooly sounds when switched to the Rhythm Circuit on the guitar's lower body horn. This Jazzmaster JM66G benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
Neck Specs:
-Wood: Maple
-Shape: Slender C, measuring .805” 1st fret, .910” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Maple, 7 ¼” vintage-spec radius
-Frets: Slender, leveled/crowned, no wear
-Scale Length: 25 ½”
-Nut: 1.650” (42mm), bone
-Tuners: Kluson-style
-Serialization: “Made in Japan,” JD12-prefix

-Pickups: JM-Vintage single coil x2

A padded faux leather gigbag is included.
