Up for sale, a 2012 Edwards by ESP E-LP-92SD QM Limited Model electric guitar in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A rare instrument made in Japan under ESP's "Edwards" banner, this guitar delivers the LP-style goods with a solid mahogany body and highly figured bookmatched quilted maple top, loaded with the stock pair of USA-made Seymour Duncan humbuckers with zebra bobbins. The SH-1 neck pickup was designed in the spirit of the original PAF, with sweet singing sustain, wound to deliver full-sounding chords and mid-forward attack. The SH-4 JB bridge pickup on the other hand is Duncan's original hot-rodded humbucker. The low end is full and powerful, the highs are crisp and detailed, and there’s an upper-midrange bump that adds crunch and chunk to heavy chords that translates to a singing, vocal-like quality when playing single notes or solos. Featherweight for an LP at 7lbs 9oz, this Edwards has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

The mahogany neck has a modestly chunky C shaped profile carve with rounded shoulders, definitely pushing towards a 50s-style carve yet shy of "baseball bat" heft, measuring .865" deep at the 1st fret and 1.005" at the 12th. The bound rosewood fretboard features flared trapezoid inlays and stock medium jumbo fretwire that's nigh flawless with well-roudned crowns, playing easily in every register up the straight neck. The guitar conforms to traditional Gibson spec with a 24 3/4" scale length and 1 11/16" wide nut. The headstock is distinctive for retaining an "open book" shape and features Kluson-style single line tuners with lightly greened tulip buttons that turn smoothly and hold pitch as they should.

The electronics function as intended, with the factory-installed Seymour Duncan humbuckers wired to a three-way selector switch and individual Volume and Tone knobs for each pickup. The stock nickel ABR-1-style bridge and stoptail are spotless, and the original plastic parts are intact and notably clean including the stock quartet of gold bonnet knobs. The highly figured quilted maple top is dynamic and dimensional, showing consistent figuring right to the edges of the top through the rich Black Cherry finish. Cosmetic wear is limited to a few faint marks and scuffs relegated to the back and lower bout body edge. The smooth gloss finish on the neck profile is pristine.

The original ESP-branded padded gigbag is included.
